I took a leisurely drive on a beautiful early spring day in neighboring Woodford County, and came upon this mare and her brand new foal. New foals rarely stray from their mother's side and this little one was no exception. Until they are much older, young foals have a rather fuzzy coat. They are beautiful, perfect and so sweet.This image is hand-painted on linen, sewn onto a heavy decorator fabric with trim down each side. The pillow size is 14" x 14" and has a removable pillow form.
