Let Us Bow
I captured his moment in early Fall, 2009, at Keeneland Racetrack in Lexington, Kentucky. I took my camera and visited the track during the early morning workouts... my favorite time to visit the track. This young exercise woman and her mount walked onto the track and passed me by. They paused for a few moments to calm the horse when I noticed that they both had bowed their heads.
This image is hand-painted on linen, sewn onto a heavy decorator fabric and trimmed with tassels at each corner. The pillow size is 14" x 14" and has a removable pillow form.
